Merit Table 2001

The Order of Merit Trophy for 2001 was contested over ten events throughout the season. The Merit table was also used to select the first automatic eight places in the Scotland team to play against England in the Auld Enemies Cup at Lundin Links Golf Club in mid August.

The ten events were:

• The Fife Classic at Ladybank on May 3rd.
• The Mitchell Deans Trophy at Stirling on May 15th.
• The Tayside Classic at Downfield on May 20th.
• The West Classic at Ravenspark on June 12th.
• The Glasgow Classic at Greenburn on June 26th.
• The Grampian Classic at Stonehaven on July 6th.
• The East Classic at Liberton on July 13th.
• The Scottish Matchplay championship at Callander.
• The Scottish Strokeplay Championship at North Berwick on October 1st & 2nd.

Final Placings for 2001:
